Electronic Bible Review
Brief Description
Notebook Screen provides a digital, paperless means
through which users may read various books.
Purpose of the Invention
Notebook Screen is designed to digitally store reading
materials such as bibles, dictionaries, encyclopaedias,
novels, and other types of books. This innovative product
features a touch screen that allows consumers to quickly and
easily browse through their collections and select the
desired book. The books can be displayed on the screen in
any language and font size, and may also provide an audio
option for those who cannot read. It is compact and highly
portable, making it ideal for use while travelling.
Consumers will enjoy this convenient digital alternative to
traditional reading.
Problems Solved by the Invention
Reading directly from books may not be easy for many
avid readers. Books are often printed in different types of
fonts and font sizes, requiring people with vision
impairments to purchase reading glasses. Some books may not
be available in a wide array of languages, preventing
consumers from being able to read and benefit from certain
books. Many people also like to read for entertainment while
travelling, but books can add a great deal of weight to
luggage, making them difficult to carry. Listening to audio
books can also be inconvenient, requiring users to carry
multiple tapes or CDs and audio players. An effective
solution is necessary.
Detailed Description
Notebook Screen provides a convenient digital method for
storing and reading books. The invention may comprise an
electronic device with a singular LCD screen designed to
display individual pages of books. On one side of the device
may be a slot for an SD memory card. The SD card can be
capable of containing approximately 8 or more GB of
information. A menu screen can be used to display the
contents of the memory card, which may contain ten folders
for various books. Each folder may contain one book of
approximately 250 pages. To select the desired book,
consumers can touch the corresponding folder, which will
cause the book to be displayed with the number of pages
listed on the side. Consumers may browse through the pages
of a book by using upper or lower arrows included on the
device, or by simply touching the desired page number
displayed on the screen. A +/- button may be included to
allow consumers to magnify or condense the size of the font.
Audio options and various language options can also be made
available with this device. The invention may be powered by
a rechargeable battery and a power cord. The exact
specifications may vary.
